Where’s Taylor? Room 6: The Parking-Space Alibi

Where’s Taylor? · The Network Case · Room 6 of 6

Spot Check has the parking-space alibi

Taylor isn’t missing in one room. She’s moving through the network, and every site holds one piece of the story.

The overnight log for the lot is short. Spot 13: occupied 1:13 a.m. to 1:13 p.m. Vehicle: none recorded. Payment: flex-pass, validated, prepaid.

The attendant on duty has an alibi: he was working the night shift and saw nothing unusual, apart from a small dog carrying a lanyard across the lot at about one in the morning.

The name on the prepaid line is smudged. Only the city is legible. Who pays for a spot nobody parks in? Someone who wants it held for a guest.

ClueThe flex-pass was paid for in advance by someone who wanted her to feel welcome. The city on the receipt is the answer.
